Gomez, Inc., the leader in web application experience management, today announced that its recently appointed Chief Open Source Evangelist, Patrick Lightbody, will discuss the challenges of testing today's complex AJAX-based web applications at this week's Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise conference. His presentation, part of the conference's Web 2.0 track, takes place on March 28 at 4:45 p.m. ET at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
Lightbody's presentation will discuss the benefits of using Selenium, an open source browser testing tool, to support all forms of AJAX testing and, ultimately, ensure the quality of the web experience delivered.
Prior to joining Gomez in February, Lightbody launched Autoriginate, an innovative company developing new solutions for the QA market. Lightbody also serves as the CEO and Chairman of OpenSymphony Group, Inc., a non-profit open source group dedicated to the creation of high-quality, open source Java-based components. Additionally, he is the founder of OpenQA, an open source group dedicated to bringing quality open source testing tools to market.
Lightbody is a published author and an established leader in the enterprise Java community. He has presented at several industry conferences, including JavaOne, OSCON and The Ajax Experience.
