Annapolis, MD—September 19, 2006 — Zenoss, Inc., a leading provider of open source network and systems management software, announced today that Steve McManus, former Vice Chairman and co-founder of Maryland-based software as a service pioneer USinternetworking, Inc., has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Client Services.
Steve McManus brings to Zenoss over 25 years of experience with disruptive information technology products and services. Prior to Zenoss, he was a co-founder of USinternetworking, Inc., the first and largest enterprise-focused application service provider, which was recently purchased by AT&T for $300 million. In seven years with USi, Mr. McManus performed numerous senior management functions and was instrumental in several key milestones, including raising several hundred million dollars of financing, successful IPO, rapid growth to over $100 million in revenue, and achieving profitability. Prior to USi, Mr. McManus held sales and services management roles with innovators Silicon Graphics and Data General.
