This release combines the 10.1 GM and all online updates that we have released for 10.1 so far, including libzypp, which should make the installing and working experience much smoother for everyone.
Novell, Concurrent Create Real-Time SUSE Linux Variant

Appropriately enough, according to Novell sources, this will be called SUSE Linux Enterprise Real Time 10 when it is announced on October 9, but everyone in the SUSE community will probably end up calling it SLERT 10.

openSUSE 10.2 Alpha4 Released
Submitted by Ty on September 8, 2006 - 9:00amI'm glad to announce the fourth alpha release of our openSUSE 10.2 distribution. The codename of openSUSE 10.2 is "Basilisk Lizard". With the rename of the distribution from SUSE Linux to openSUSE, we renamed also the name in bugzilla.novell.com so that you have to report bugs against "openSUSE 10.2".
