Gimp 2.4 RC Released

Among the many improvements in this upcoming version, new version of several of the most used tools and an improved interface with redesigned menus and new icons for tools. This version doesn't have support for images with more than 8 bit per color channel, the support will come with the version 2.6 of the Gimp."
GIMP 2.2.17 Released
Submitted by Ty on July 13, 2007 - 8:00amDue to a regression in the PSD loader that was introduced with the 2.2.16 release, we had to roll out another release in the stable 2.2 series. The source code for version 2.2.17 of the GNU Image Manipulation Program is available from ftp.gimp.org.
