Linux Networx Conference for Aerospace Solutions

Linux Networx, The Linux Supercomputing Company, today announced that it is hosting its third annual Linux Networx Conference for Aerospace Solutions the week of March 12th. Linux Networx, along with high-performance computing (HPC) industry leaders AMD and Computational Engineering International (CEI), will present educational seminars on how aerospace companies can leverage the latest HPC solutions and technologies to accelerate designs and product time-to-market while increasing supercomputing efficiency.

The conference will provide in-depth technology discussions addressing the optimization of Linux Supersystems, CAE applications and high performance visualization in the aerospace industry. Topics include managing clusters in a heterogeneous environment, performance tuning for CAE applications, the latest advancements in high performance visualization and more. Presentations and speakers include:

-- Nayo Martinez, CAE Application Engineer at CEI. Mr. Martinez will
address strategies for leveraging visualization Supersystems for simulation
of post-processing.

-- Representatives from AMD will address advances in processor and
platform technology, quad-core processor technology and AMD's Torrenza
initiative.

-- Brent Farr, Director, Industrial Solutions at Linux Networx. Mr. Farr
will host several technical and engineering discussions led by Linux
Networx engineering staff, addressing advancements in supercomputing
solutions for aerospace.
