Red Hat boosts CEO's salary to $600,000

Red Hat last week raised the annual base salary of its president and chief executive officer by 50 percent to $600,000, according to a Friday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
But Wall Street was unimpressed as the Raleigh, N.C.-based company's shares were at their lowest level in the past year in morning trading.
